Founded in 1996 by artists David E. Davis, the Artist Archive of the Western Reserve is a unique repository located in Cleveland, Ohio, which permanently houses the work of 55 North Eastern Ohio Artists.

From our Mission Statement:

"The Artists Archives of the Western Reserve is a unique archival facility created to preserve bodies of work by Ohio visual artists. Through ongoing research, exhibition, and educational programs the AAWR actively documents and promotes this cultural heritage for the benefit of the public."
